India Union Budget 2013-2014: No change in excise duty, service tax

New Delhi, Feb 28 (IBNS) There is no change in the peak rate of basic customs duty of 10% for non-agricultural products in the Union Budget 2013-14.

 Presenting the Union Budget in Lok Sabha on Thursday, Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram announced that there will be no change in the normal rate of excise duty of 12% and the normal rate of service tax of 12%.
